icli software package provides command line interface for the icinga monitoring system, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install icli
icli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the icli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep icli *
You will get with icli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
